von. Diaz is a food writer, and radio producer at StoryCorps. Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico and raised in Atlanta, GA, she is also a self-taught cook who explores food, culture, and identity through memoir and multimedia. Her forthcoming cookbook, GOLDITA：渴望波多黎各，使用讲故事和食谱来探索岛屿的殖民和当代历史，加勒比地区的非洲奴隶制的遗产，以及波多黎各和大陆之间的持续文化交流。
